Interpretation in the translation by an interpreter of what is

This translation is different from
pragmatic translation in that it does not only emphasize the accuracy of the
information but also the effect,emotion,feeling ect.
Ex.

sangat mengagumi/ saya adalah pengagum berat mu).

Ethnographic translation.
This type of translation explicates the
culture context of the source and the target language.
Ex. Dad, you promised me……… (papa, papa
sudah janji………).

Linguistic translation.
This translation is primarily concerned
with equivalent meaning of the constituent morphemes and grammatical forms of
the source and the target language.

Communicative translation.
As a tool communication, translation should
be communicative in the sense that it can convey and communicate message
message and feeling to other people . therefore in the process of translation
important aspect such as source language, target language, culture,
writer/author/speaker,translator and the audience should be considered.
Ex.
As white as snow (seputih salju).
To rural people in indonesia (seputih kapas
is more communicative than seputih salju).

Semantic translation.
This translation tries to make the
contextual message/meaning of source language as close as possible with the
syntactic and semantic structure of the target language.
Ex.
Context A
Mr William :
you must not go out this evening (kamu tidak boleh keluar malam ini)
Harry : yes,dad (ya papa).
Context B
Mr.william :
you must not go out this evening (kamu tidak boleh keluar malam ini)
Harry : yes, sir (ya, pak bapak).
